Moss Agate
10 products
As Moss Agate is not banded, then technically it is not an Agate, but a Chalcedony, all part of the Quartz family. Moss Agate looks as though it has tiny plants trapped inside, hence its name, but the inclusions seen in Moss Agate are actually green fern like dendrites of manganese or iron. More recently Moss Agate from Indonesia has been seen which has red dendrites which happens due to the corrosion of the iron dendrites.
