The name Imperial Topaz has been applied to various colours of Topaz over the years, starting with the Pink Topaz found in the Russian Urals, and more commonly now the yellow, orange or red Topaz from Brazil. There is still no official definition of Imperial Topaz so you may see it applied to varying colours of Topaz, both treated and natural.
