Danburite

Danburite is named after Danbury in the USA, where it was first discovered in 1839. It comes in shades of light pink, to light yellow-brown, to colourless. Due to its colour, it can often be mistaken for Topaz, although good clean crystals of Danburite have very distinct 'spade' terminations.
