These Mammoth hair packs contain Mammoth hair from Siberia. You will receive one pack of Mammoth hair and one information card. The photos show examples of some that we have available.
This Mammoth hair was found in the permafrost of Siberia and is about 40,000 years old. Mammoths originated about 4 million years ago and became extinct about 10,000 years ago during the last ice age. Mammoths grew up to 3.5 meters in height and could weigh up to 6 tons.
