These beautiful Libyan Desert Glass specimens are from the sand dunes in Western Egypt. You will receive the exact Libyan Desert Glass crystal shown in the photos.
Libyan Desert Glass is an impact glass, which is long believed to have been formed as a result of an asteroid/meteor that exploded in the air above the earth (known as an airburst), although more recent findings point towards an actual impact, though a crater still has not been found. Either way, this created the very high temperature needed to melt the sand dunes in the Sahara Desert. The impact happened around 26 million years ago, and LDG is one of the purest natural glasses on the planet, being composed of around 98% silica.
It is a very powerful manifestation crystal, and has a very strong spiritual energy. They are highly protective crystals, and are excellent for strengthening your willpower. It's mystical energy is useful in rituals and in helping to make contact with other realms.
