Red Beryl is the rarest of the Beryl family. It can only be found in tiny crystals, and is named after Maynard Bixby, who first discovered it in 1904. It is incredibly rare and can only be found in the Thomas Range and Wah Wah mountains of Utah, USA, and the Black Range in Mexico.
