Almost all our photos are taken in a photography lightbox to provide consistent lighting, please note crystal and mineral appearances and colour will vary slightly in different lighting conditions, we try our best to capture the crystals as accurately as possible.
These beautiful small Rainbow Fluorite spheres come in deep shades of green, purple and blue that look incredible with light behind them. Some even have white "snowflake" patterning. You will receive one Rainbow Fluorite mini sphere, the photos show an example of some of the ones we have available, each one measures between 23 to 27mm across.
Fluorite comes in a huge variety of colours, from striking blues, greens, pinks and purples, to softer clear and yellow shades. The UK has two famous Fluorite deposits, Blue John Fluorite in Derbyshire is the only place in the world this blue, purple and yellow banded Fluorite is found; and Weardale in County Durham produces stunning green fluorescent cubic Fluorite. The largest ever Fluorite cube was found in Russia, it weighed 16 tonnes and was 2.12 meters wide. The ancient Egyptians and Chinese carved Fluorite into decorative objects, but it was too soft to be used in jewellery.
