Orange River Quartz gets its name from the Orange River in Africa, which runs along the border of Namibia and South Africa. Orange River Quartz is famous for it's Hematite inclusions, which can form in black spots or bright red phantoms within the crystals. Although they are mostly Clear Quartz crystals, attractive Smoky Quartz with deep red inclusions have also been found.
