Feldspar is a large group of minerals that includes Labradorite, Moonstone and Amazonite. The Feldspar group together forms the most commonly found mineral group on Earth. The two major sub groups of Feldspar are Alkali Feldspars. These are low in Calcium but high in Potassium, this includes Orthoclase and Microline Feldspars, including Amazonite and Moonstone. The second sub group is Plagioclase Feldspars, which is high in Calcium and low in Potassium, this group includes Labradorite.
