Cornetite is a rare secondary Copper mineral found in shades of deep blue to green. It is named after Belgian geologist Jules Cornet who did extensive work in the Congo, where Cornetite was first discovered. It can often be found alongside other copper minerals such as Malachite and Chrysocolla.
