Blue Goldstone
Blue Goldstone is the blue variety of Goldstone, and is created by substituting cobalt for copper in the glass. Goldstone is a man-made glass and is believed to have been invented in Venice by accident in the 17th Century by the Miotti family, although there are records of earlier examples of Goldstone type material in Persia. It is most commonly seen in a brown/red colour, although it can also be found in blue and green varieties. It is sometimes incorrectly labelled as Sunstone, which is a natural gemstone.
Blue Goldstone is particularly suited for empaths, as it offers a shielding embrace, safeguarding sensitive individuals from absorbing negative energies. This crystal nurtures self-acceptance and enhances feelings of self-worth, promoting a strong sense of inner validation. Blue Goldstone aids in the realms of learning and concentration, facilitating effective absorption of knowledge and sharpened focus. By bolstering confidence, it emboldens individuals to navigate challenges with assurance. Moreover, Blue Goldstone serves as a conduit for improved communication, dissolving blockages within the Throat Chakra and fostering clear self-expression.
