Our top priority is ensuring your crystals arrive in perfect condition, but also in a way that has as little impact on the planet as possible. We use box suppliers who create our boxes out of recycled and sustainable materials and our bubble wrap is recyclable.

This iridescent Turgite coating over Quartz specimen is from the San Valentin Mine in Spain. You will receive the exact Turgite specimen shown in the pictures.
Turgite is a trade name used nowadays to refer to Iridescent varieties of iron oxide minerals, most commonly Goethite or Hematite, that often coat other minerals such as Quartz. As it isn't a single, defined thing, it isn't classified as a mineral, and it's usage had changed over the years, originally describing a red mineral in-between Goethite & Hematite from the Urals Region in Russia. Modern day locations for "Turgite" include the famous Graves Mountain location in Georgia (including the appropriately named "Skittles Pocket!), Malaysia, Spain and Mexico.
