Description
Lovely oval shaped Moss Agate palmstone with wonderful patterns, please note some of these have little vugs as often found in Moss Agate, and so are not completely smooth. You will receive the exact Moss Agate crystal pictured.
As Moss Agate is not banded, it is technically it is not an Agate, but a Chalcedony - however the name has stuck!. Both are part of the Quartz family. Moss Agate looks as though it has tiny plants trapped inside, hence its name, but the inclusions seen in Moss Agate are actually green fern like dendrites of Manganese or Iron.
