This beautiful specimen of extremely rare Vivianite from Romania looks like a scene caught mid explosion, there are so many wonderful crystals of deep greeny blue peeking out from the matrix. You will receive the exact Vivianite crystal shown in the pictures.
Vivianite is a photosensitive crystal that will darken on exposure to light; when it is mined it is colourless, but darkens to a greeny blue. Large and well defined crystals are highly desirable, and they can also form in thin needle sprays.
We recommend storing Vivianite away from sunlight as it may darken the crystal due to it’s photosensitivity. It is an extremely soft crystal so must be handled with care.
