This specimen of Witherite is from the sought after Settlingstones mine in Northumberland with distinct crystal formations. You will receive the exact Witherite crystal pictured.

Witherite is named after English naturalist William Withering, who first described it from where it was discovered in Cumbria, UK. It can be found in shades of white, cream through to yellow. It is unusually heavy for a transparent mineral due to the Barium content.
