This gorgeous hand selected Australian Andamooka Opal is set in 925 Sterling Silver and has been hand selected for it's lovely high quality and rainbow sparkles. Comes with an 18 inch snake chain and a CC gift box with a polishing cloth. Dimensions are the size of the pendant, and do not include the bail.
Andamooka Opal is from Australia, and is a matrix opal, ie the rainbow sparkles of the opal are embedded within the rock matrix. When mined, Andamooka Opal is hard to see because the rock it sits within is light coloured, so most Andamooka is treated to darken the matrix so that the Opal is more obvious within the crystal.
