Pyrite

Pyrite is commonly known as Fools Gold, due to its metallic brassy colour. It gets its name from the Greek Pyr, which means fire; due to the fact that it emits sparks when struck by iron. For this reason, it has been used since ancient times as a fire starting crystal. It has also been popular in jewellery for thousands of years due to its pretty, golden appearance. Pyrite can be found in a few different crystal forms; multi sided golden clusters commonly called Chispas; flat crystal forms called Pyrite Suns or Dollars; and beautiful golden cubes most commonly found in Navajun, Spain.

Pyrite is associated with abundance and prosperity, attracting wealth and success into one's life. It also has a strong protective energy, shielding against negative energies, and promoting a sense of grounding and stability. Pyrite is believed to enhance willpower, confidence, and motivation, making it an excellent crystal for manifesting goals and overcoming challenges. It stimulates creativity and intellectual pursuits, helping to generate innovative ideas and find practical solutions. Pyrite's radiant energy can uplift the spirit and boost self-esteem, encouraging a positive outlook and fostering a sense of empowerment.
