Tourmaline comes in many colours, the green variety is also known as Verdite. Watermelon Tourmaline is a combination of pink (Rubellite) and green (Verdite), where the outer crystal is green and the inner is pink. High quality Watermelon Tourmaline is incredibly desirable, and is often sold in very thin slices to best showcase the crystal colours.
