Chalcopyrite is a metallic mineral that is naturally a bright gold colour, but it tarnishes to form beautiful iridescent rainbow colours. This can happen naturally, but chunks of it are also often acid washed to create the bright rainbow colours, and then sold as Peacock Ore.
