This large Black Mica specimen is from the Silver Crater Mine in Cardiff, Ontario, Canada, also known as Biotite Mica. This crystal is a deep black and highly reflective, due to it's flaky nature, handle with care. You will receive the exact crystal shown in the photos.
The name Biotite actually refers to a group of Black Mica minerals, but it is commonly used to describe the entire group as without scientific analysis they are very difficult to tell apart.
