Bowenite

Bowenite is a member of the Serpentine group that is often labelled as New Jade in metaphysical circles. However it is no relation to either Nephrite Jade or Jadeite, except for the fact it is green. It was named in 1850 after mineralogist George Thomas Bowen and is found in various shades of green, often mottled with white. Due to it's relative softness, it is often used as a carving material, and is sometimes dyed a deeper colour.

Bowenite serves as a guide in cultivating positive relationships, aiding individuals in fostering connections that bring about mutual support and harmony. Bowenite's gentle and tranquil energy offers a soothing influence that promotes a serene state of being. It empowers individuals to confront and conquer their fears, promoting emotional resilience and courage. Embodying wisdom, Bowenite encourages deliberate decision-making by emphasising the importance of taking the time to make choices aligned with one's true path. This crystal serves as a bridge to nature, fostering a profound connection to the natural world and grounding individuals in its nurturing energies.
