Blue John Fluorite

Blue John is a variety of Fluorite that was highly popular with the Victorians, who used it in jewellery and for decorative carvings. Blue John can only be found in Treak Cliff Cavern in Derbyshire, England, and has a distinctive colouring of white, blue, purple and yellow.
