Anhydrite is an evaporate mineral that often forms along with other evaporate minerals such as Gypsum and Halite. Angelite is a soft pastel blue version of Anhydrite that can be found in Peru. The name comes from the Greek 'anhydrous' which translates to 'without water', and when it comes into contact with water it will hydrate and turn to Gypsum.
