Quartz After Fluorite #1

This Quartz after Fluorite Specimen is from the Anna Mine, Fahl, Todtnau, Germany. This unusual perimorph specimen shows the shape of the original Fluorite cubic crystals with the Quartz having grown around them, and then the Fluorite has later dissolved, just leaving the Quartz 'case'. This specimen also has several areas of bright yellow - green on, with some crystal growth visible, we believe from the colour, and the presence of Pyromorphite at this locality, that it is most likely Pyromorphite, although this is not confirmed
