This unusual lot of Marcasite with Pyrite with some Quartz from Morocco was one of Stu's favourite Tucson 2025 purchases! This piece features lots of larger, well defined crystal blades and a sparkling druzy Quartz sat on host rock. You will receive the exact Pyrite & Marcasite specimen pictured.
Marcasite is a polymorph of Pyrite, meaning has the same chemical formula as Pyrite, but a different crystal structure. In the jewellery trade Pyrite used in jewellery is sometimes known as Marcasite, and this is different to the mineral Marcasite.
