Seymchan is an ideal collectors meteorite, as it is much more rust resistant than the cheaper Sericho meteorite, due to the iridium content. However, it should still not be stored in a humid environment or closed plastic cases like clam shells, as this traps moisture and increases the rate of oxidisation.
